Keith Edward Corbit

1971 - 2021

Keith Edward Corbit – February 2, 1971 to January 22, 2021

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Keith Edward Corbit on January 22, 2021, at the age of 49 in Guelph, Ontario.

Loving father of Hope Valeriote (Alex Gascon) and Kyle Driscoll (Madison Correia). Anticipating the arrival of his first granddaughter, April 2021.

Cherished son of Maureen Hatton (Paul Nasso) and Jim Corbit (Pat).

Adored by his siblings Jamie (Kim Kennedy), Jim (Floriana Macerollo), Paul, Dave, Lorraine Graydon, Heather Schirmer (late Tim), Michael (Melissa), Joshua Nasso (Fiona Douglas), Daniel Nasso (Hayley Tompkins), Brittany McCarthy (Dan), Richard Nasso, Chris and Clint Hatton.

Dearest uncle to Clayton, Lorissa, Adriana, Devon, Emma, Liam, Kieran, and Zach.

Loved by aunts and uncles Linda Schweitzer (Sonny), Sheila Picken (Roy), David Mayers (Patricia) and many cousins.

Fondly remembered by Shawn Schaefer, Pat Hanlon, Michelle Kochan, Scott Mount and Scott Dirstein and by Paula Valeriote-Keane and (late) Miranda Driscoll, the mothers of his children.

Keith was born February 2nd, 1971 in Guelph, Ontario - a son, father, brother, nephew, cousin, friend, a defender of the underdog. Keith exuded an energy that made you want to be around him. His quick wit, infectious smile and great sense of humour always put others in a good mood. He was kind, caring and compassionate with a heart of gold. He excelled in sports and was a hardcore Buffalo Bills fan. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and camping. He was a talented painter who was always willing to help others. But he was most proud of his children, Hope and Kyle, seeing them grow into the strong, extraordinary people they are today. A part of us is missing but he will live forever in our hearts.

"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle."
